King’s Award for Enterprise 2025 is awarded to Bamboo Connect
The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the UK. The awards were first established in 1965 and since then over 8,000 companies have achieved a King’s Award. 2025 marks the third year of The King’s Awards for Enterprise, reflecting His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses.
The awards celebrate the success of exciting and innovative businesses which are leading the way with pioneering products or services, delivering impressive social mobility programmes, or showing their commitment to excellent sustainable development practices.
This year 197 businesses have been recognised for their contribution to International Trade, Innovation, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity. Bamboo being part of this very small number.
Bamboo are honoured to have been awarded such a distinction from the King’s Award for Enterprise opportunity, especially proud since the Queen’s Award for Enterprise was received by Bamboo in 2018 (see news story).
The King’s Awards for Enterprise 2025 include:
- 116 Awards for International Trade (Bamboo’s category)
- 46 Awards for Innovation
- 27 Awards for Sustainable Development
- Awards for Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility)

This is a major milestone in our journey and a solid foundation for continued growth.
We’re also proud to be among the few companies that have received both the Queen’s Award and now the King’s Award. That’s something truly special—so take a moment to be proud.
We will be arranging a celebration once the Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire confirms the date of his visit to Bamboo to formally present the award.
